Just after he has triumphed over his series of medical bouts including the recent open-heart surgery, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano this time reveals he has kidney cancer.
In a snippet of his interview with Korina Sanchez for the program “Rated K,” which was aired on TV Patrol Friday, he shocked his fans with this devastating revelation.
As for what he feels after learning about his new illness, he only said, “Gaano katagal pa? Kailan ba matatapos itong lahat?”
(How long will this be? When will this end?)
However, Valenciano does not at all look sick and is all determined to win over cancer.
He pacified his worried fans with a tweet that said he is now okay. He also invited everyone to watch the full episode of his interview on Sunday.
Not too long ago, Valenciano underwent a major heart bypass following a diagnosis of a clogged artery caused by his diabetes.
The entire showbiz world expressed concern and well-wishes for the total performer. His fans also relayed to him via social media that they could not wait for him to come back on stage again.
Last May, Valenciano released a video assuring fans that he is now recuperating and that indeed, he will be back soon. /jpv
