For Liza Diño, you can attend your meeting while beauty-pampering yourself at the same time.

The chairperson of the Film Development Council of the Philippines wore a face mask while in a meeting on Monday. She shared her gimmick on her Facebook, and said that what she was doing was “multitasking.”

Not stopping there, she shared another photo that had this quote as her caption: “Love often wears a mask in order to test loyalty.”

Some  thought that her post was humorous and rode on with her antic. Even actress Elizabeth Oropesa was a fan of Diño’s gimmick.

While some laughed with her, others found foul in her post. On Twitter, a netizen named Miss Magie (@MiaMagdalena) posted screenshots of Diño’s post and lamented: “She said it’s multitasking. I call it unprofessional.”

One netizen named Raqs Regalado (@raqsinabox) defended the film council chairperson, saying she did it to humor her staff at the meeting, which supposedly happened at 2 a.m. But Miss Magie stood her ground: “There is a time and place for everything, including humor, and posting on social media.”

Even Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson joined in the conversation and commented: “Baka multitasking din. Mukhang makapal (Maybe it’s also multitasking, being shameless).”

But Diño was having none of the criticism and defended herself. She told the netizen that the photo was staged, and emphasized that it was posted on her personal page. “Dear, you might want to check first before making assumptions,” she added.

The netizen shot back at Diño: “You were working. You were goofing off. You posted it [publicly].” She went on saying that there were some who were not impressed by her stunt, and their thoughts were based on the chairperson’s photos and captions.

Another netizen, Hawt & Cowled (@papalbadass), said that Diño is a “public figure with a very public father and a very public husband.” He also sardonically added that she “posts on social media and says it’s personal.”
