Arnel Pineda looked extremely happy as he met another famous and proud Filipino like him recently — Dave “Batista” Bautista.
The frontman of the rock band Journey met the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor during the band’s gig at Suntrust Park in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on Sunday, July 1.
Bautista posted the photos of his meeting with Pineda on his Instagram page last Monday, July 2. He said that the post — his 200th — was “monumental,” as he was proud to hang out with his friend whom he called “an amazing human being.”
Likewise, Pineda shared their photos but with a humorous note: he joked that he asked Bautista about some spoilers on the planned “Avengers: Infinity War 2” film. He did not get an answer but at least got a photo opportunity with his friend.
The singer also shared that he had a great time during Sunday’s gig, and thanked his fans for being “generous and kind to his band and fellow performers on the show,” which included Def Leppard.
Before venturing into acting, Bautista was already famous as a World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) wrestler. He was signed under WWE from 2000 to 2010, and briefly returned to the scene in 2013 to 2014. Meanwhile, Pineda has been with Journey since he joined the legendary band in 2007. JB
