Being a mother requires vigilance of children’s safety, particularly in ensuring that the food and medicine they are consuming are not past the expiration dates on their packages. This is what Kris Aquino reminds parents through a post she made via Instagram yesterday, June 30.

Uploading a photo of her and Bimby before going to bed, the Queen of All Media advised parents to check the expiration date on all the medicines that families use. She says that the reason why she and Bimby still have colds is because they (presumably her staff) thought that the date listed on the cold medications was the manufacturing date, when in fact it was the expiration date.

“Ready to sleep… BUT needed to warn moms (& dads)- check the expiration date of all medicine. I was wondering WHY we’re still sniffling, so i checked- they thought manufacturing date was what was on the cold medication- WRONG, expiration pala… ”

Kris states that her other son, Josh, is sleeping in another room to prevent him from acquiring hers and Bimby’s cold: “Kuya is sleeping in his room to make sure he doesn’t catch our cold (he was starting to cough but no runny nose).”

The Queen of All Media also shared the medicinal reasons behind the jewelries she is wearing in the photo. Pertaining to the sapphire ring she was wearing, she notes that the rare gemstone “improves digestion, removes fatigue, enhances the power of concentration, promotes calmness and a sense of equality, soothes the senses and removes fears and negativities from the individuals.”

Aquino says that the pearl necklace she is wearing “promotes general health by restraining diseases and disorders from body with its curative aura.” Moreover, she cited that the iridescent gemstone has positive effects on skin, heart, brain and the digestive and reproductive systems: “Pearl can assist in curing the diseases involved in these specific organs that include, heart issues, ulcers, depression, anxiety, hyperactivity, high blood pressure, skin acne problems and menstrual imbalances in women.”

Last night made me realize what impact i have on my KCAP millennial team’s mindset- that’s y the Viber exchange w/ @celinasolcruz is included in this video… i think sumobra na yung pag ingrain ko sa kanila about giving our brand partners loyalty & importance because she said “perfect for our shoot on monday” that i have a bad cold.😅 (i also included an explanation about the health benefits of wearing pearls because you might be freaked out that i’m wearing them while sinisipon- debated & decided against including a picture of my left hand w/ 5 rings based on what gemstones would heal my sore throat, sinusitis, and BP fluctuations- kasi baka sumobrang ma weird-an na kayo w/ me.) Signing off for today. Have a peaceful & pleasant Saturday night. ☺️

And while the Queen of All Media was initially reluctant to share the photos showing her wearing the gem stones, she said she decided to go ahead and post, but making sure she states the health benefits of the stones to inform the fans. At any rate, the gems at least glam her up despite having the gloomy colds. JB
