WATCH: BTS holds Dinner Party, rap line drops new song to thank haters

BTS (방탄소년단) '방탄회식' #2018BTSFESTA

There is no doubt about the fact that K-pop group Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) is at the top of their game after their recent successes, but they never fail to look back. To celebrate the anniversary of their debut, BTS holds an annual event called BTS Festa wherein they share with fans their latest pictures, never-before-seen videos and new songs, all to show gratitude to their fans whom they refer to as ARMYs.

On Tuesday, June 12 KST, BTS released the pre-recorded video for the Dinner Party (replacing Kkul FM in the previous BTS Festa lineup) which the group held while practicing for their then much-awaited comeback. The video was posted by BangtanTV on YouTube.

The seven members of the group — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — took turns in answering question while sharing food and drinking (take note: they’re all of Korean legal age to drink).

Naturally, ARMYs are beyond ecstatic. And as expected, BTS did not let down with their candid and heartwarming answers to the questions the staff has prepared. Some of the questions the boys answered include questions about their individual fashion styles, their personal definition of happiness, and who among the boys had influenced them the most. Their ardent fans captured these moments and shared them with fellow fans all over social media.

One particular unforgettable moment in the party was when V confessed that he received a long letter from Suga which ended with an “I love you.” For ARMYs, this bit of information is surprising, considering Suga’s track record with openly expressing his emotions to his “brothers.” Jungkook later admitted that he received a long letter with an “I love you” from Suga as well.

Suga surprised ARMYs further when he gave in to Jimin’s request to tell him “I love you.”

Meanwhile, Jin, being Jin, told the boys how effortless he is when it comes to choosing his day-to-day outfit.

J-Hope, on the other hand, turned red from the alcohol.

Aside from exposing each other, the boys also shared about the nervousness and the anxiety they felt as they became more prominent in both the Korean and American music industry scene.

In addition to the Dinner Party, BTS’ rap line which consists of RM, Suga and J-Hope released a track co-produced by Suga, titled “Ddaeng” on Monday, June 11, as a gift to their fans. The trio’s diss track is supposedly aimed at those who had belittled the group’s rappers at the start of their career.
