Gal and Patty, ‘women of wonder’
On Twitter, Gal Gadot congratulated her “Wonder Woman” director, Patty Jenkins, for being honored as a significant contributor to the fight for gender equality.
“Congrats to the amazing [Patty Jenkins] for receiving the 2018 Women in Motion award,” wrote the actress in the caption of their photo together. “It takes power to own your point of view, and no one is better to lead the way than Patty, an incredible woman and artist. Excited about where we’re headed next together. #WomenOfWonder #WomeninMotion.”
The fourth Women in Motion event in Cannes centers on women’s contributions to the film industry.
Sequel
The director and actress are teaming up again for the anticipated “Wonder Woman” sequel.
