“The Special” Emmet will embark on an intergalactic adventure to save his friends in “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.”
Five years after the events of “Taco Tuesday,” Emmet (Chris Pratt) still thinks that everything is awesome. However, the tragic event made Bricksburg look like a post-apocalyptic wasteland, as seen in the movie’s trailer.
An invader named Sweet Mayhem (Stephanie Beatriz) suddenly comes in and kidnaps all his friends. It is up to Emmet to go to space and save them.
Also returning to the movie is Elizabeth Banks, who voices Lucy, and Will Arnett as the Lego version of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are set to appear in the upcoming flick.
Get ready for another journey through the Lego Universe as the movie is slated for a Feb. 8, 2019, release in the US. /ra
