President Rodrigo Duterte may have missed his granddaughter’s debut, but still showed his support for another milestone in her life.
Duterte ensured that he didn’t miss granddaughter Isabelle’s high-school graduation at San Beda College Alabang.
With her were her mom, Lovelie Sumera, and older brother Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II.

The presidential granddaughter marked the end of her basic education with a photo of her holding a bouquet of flowers and raising her red graduation cap. She wrote in the photo’s caption: “It was a short but blissful year, San Beda!”
It’s not known if her father, former Davao Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, was in the ceremony. The father and daughter have had public spats on social media.
President Duterte counts San Beda College as his alma mater, having obtained his law degree from the school. /ra
