Isabelle Duterte was once again a head-turner in a custom gown, this time in her graduation ball.
The 18-year-old presidential granddaughter chose local designer Michael Leyva to dress her for the milestone event. Leyva put a modern twist on the ball gown with a halter top and shimmering silver fabric in swirling patterns.
Leyva is known for draping clients—including stars Anne Curtis and Pia Wurtzbach—in scene-stealing sheer and sparkly designs.
Professional makeup artist Winn Ramos complemented the gown with a smokey eye in a cool metallic tone while hairstylist Allan Vicentico placed her long tresses in a classy half ponytail.
Her grand-ball look was completed with a metallic clutch and bangle.
It’s not known if she took a date, but she may have danced the night away, as she did in her lavish debut. Last January, Duterte performed a dance number for guests—complete with backup dancers—at the luxury hotel The Peninsula Manila.
The teen’s affinity for designer gowns has been seen in the handful of outfit changes she had for her pre-debut photo shoots and for the debut proper. This time, it seems she was satisfied with just one gown for the night. /ra
