Ellen Adarna sued for child bullying
Actress Ellen Adarna has been charged in the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office by the mother of the teenage girl she had accused of taking photographs of her at a Japanese restaurant.
Myra Santos confirmed to the Inquirer that she and her husband filed complaints on Tuesday for violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law and Anti-Cybercrime Law against Adarna.
However, she refused to give more details.
Arnold Labay, the couple’s lawyer, said the Santoses wanted to limit their exposure to avoid further negative effects on their 17-year-old daughter.
On question of what will happen if Adarna would issue a public apology, Libay said he still could not give a definite answer.

On May 4, Adarna posted a video on her Instagram account that showed the younger Santos and her companion at a Japanese restaurant.
The actress accused the child of doing “paparazzi moves,” alleging that she was taking photos of her.
But the teen explained on Twitter that she was taking videos of her food and did not even know Adarna was there.
Santos said her child had even reached out to Adarna to resolve the matter.
She added: “As much as no one has the right to breach your privacy, you have no right to ruin my daughter’s reputation.” /atm
