‘Drama’ over for Cardi B and Nicki Minaj
It was no feud—just “a little issue.” Nothing an earnest conversation can’t resolve.
All is well between female hip-hop artists Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, after they were spotted chatting at this year’s Met Gala.
“There was a misunderstanding…She felt a certain way about something. I definitely felt a certain way about something,” said Cardi B, who reportedly had a falling out with Nicki over an issue about “MotorSport,” a song in which they collaborated.

“I didn’t want to ever talk about it in public, because I felt like we were going to see each other again and talk about it,” she said in a recent interview with Howard Stern. “I spoke to her at the Met Gala about it, and it’s just like, see? It’s just something that had to be talked about.”

“The media, they’re just thirsty to put women in hip-hop—not just women in hip-hop, but colored women—against each other,” she pointed out.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
