Mother knows best

/ 12:20 AM May 12, 2018

For most people, their mother is their best friend, cheerleader, confidante and tower of comfort and strength. She is sweet and nurturing when they’re blue, and tough when she needs to be.

For this forum, we asked stars to talk about their mothers and what they’ve learned from them. Mother knows best, indeed.

Miguel Tanfelix

Miguel Tanfelix: I learned that there is a reason why mothers ask us to do or not do things. And even if it’s against my will, I know that it’s what’s best for me.

Kyline Alcantara: When my Mom and Papa decided to separate for a while, I felt like she didn’t consider me strong enough to help her get through those times. Miguel: To be a multitasker. Mothers are like that. I’m amazed at how they manage to finish all the things they need to do in a short period. In my case, my mother is very caring and protective of me and my brother, and I want to emulate her.

Kyline: My mama’s resilience. She will sacrifice everything just for her children’s happiness. Her ability to recover and come back stronger after every struggle is another quality of hers that I admire.
