On May 3, 2018, was the Grand Press Conference of ‘So Connected’ starring Janella Salvador and her lead male co-star Jameson Blake.

Somehow, I still feel a bit starstruck each time I get to see actors and actresses in person. To be in the same room with them almost always seems surreal to me. That is why when I am invited to attend a Grand Press Conference, I get so excited and look forward to it because it is a privilege that not everyone is given.

Now, onto Janella Salvador.

FEATURED STORIES

The movie projects that have been offered to her are always something different, unique, and refreshing. Often times, her movies are not what most people would be expecting. Yet, and happily and surprisingly, for the moviegoers, her movies always live up to the hype because she, Janella Salvador is the lead star and she delivers. And how she delivers, indeed!

This very positive direction in Janella Salvador’s professional career is being achieved because  Regal Entertainment, Inc. veers away from giving her the usual stereotypical characters to play. This decision by Regal Entertainment, Inc. to give Janella Salvador off-beat roles to play certainly helps to challenge and hone her acting abilities. This effectively makes Janella Salvador rise above the throng of similar young actresses like her.

Her newest movie ‘So Connected’ is another such addition to Janella Salvador’s list of movies she has done that does not follow the norm.

1) You portray Trisha in this movie. What were Trisha’s personality traits that you, in fact, share with her in real life?

Janella Salvador: My character here, si Trisha, sobrang iba siya sa mga na portray ko before. Because she’s very real and hindi siya pa “sosyal sosyal“. Medyo may pag ka jologs and natatawag na jejemga ganun… So, sa mgapart na yunhindi ako nakaka-relate. Pero, meron talaga siyang side na funny and kengkoy. And feeling kodun ako nakaka-relate sa funny side niya.

2) What did you like the most about portraying Trisha in this movie?

Janella Salvador: I guess what I like the most is that she was super fun. Hindi siya yung ordinary character, may pag ka off-beat talaga ang character niya kasi ang damiSiguro, ang daming mga relatable stuff na ginagawa niTrisha in real life. Like, ginagawa niyo, pero nahihiya kayo. Basta nakakatawa siya sobra!

3) Without giving away any spoilers, what was your personal favorite line from the movie? Why so?
