Anne Curtis has added EXO to her list of K-pop favorites after getting blown away at the group’s latest concert.

Curtis attended the Manila leg of the “Exo Planet #4 – The Elyxion” concert tour on April 28 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. She had nothing but praises for the concert, which she posted on her Twitter page. Apparently, husband Erwan Heussaff was supposed to watch the concert with her but he had to back out on the last minute.

EXO is a nine-member male group composed of South Korean and Chinese members. The group is based in Seoul but release and perform music in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. EXO performed in the Philippines at the Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert in 2013 at the MOA Concert Grounds, along with other groups such as Girls Generation, Infinite, U Kiss, Tasty and Tahiti. The group has been returning to perform in Manila ever since.

In one of her tweets, Curtis said she hoped for EXO member Chanyeol to do a solo version of “Stay With Me”, which is part of the soundtrack of her favorite Korean drama series “Goblin”, starring actor Gong Yoo.

She then explained how the soundtrack of Korean dramas she watches lead her to K-pop groups. Curtis tweeted, “I research the OST’S and actors tapos un pala singers din sila. I like listening to a lot of groups and solo artists now. Pero… Kdrama for life pa rin! Hahaha”

(I research OST’S and actors, then I discover they’re singers too. I like listening to a lot of solo artists now. But still… Kdrama for life! [laughs])

Curtis also fangirled over EXO member Suho’s performance, where she claimed it just made her put her phone down. Overall she praised the entire group for being excellent singers and dancers.

The actress was so impressed with the concert that she hoped more Korean artists would perform in Manila, particularly the girl group Black Pink and singing duo Bolbbalgan4.

In her last tweet, Curtis promised fellow K-music lovers that she’ll be at every concert and fan meet when she doesn’t have work. Then she tagged hubby Heussaff to take note of future concerts, for future date nights. JB
