Nyoy, Jed are new ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids’ mentors

Powerhouse singers Nyoy Volante and Jed Madela are now taking off as the new mentors in “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids.”

A new group of kid performers are set for an all-out transformation into different local and international music icons. With the help of celebrity mentors Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid and Sharon Cuneta and now with the addition of Volante and Madela, the kids are sure up for a fun and exciting transformation journey.

For this season, 10 bright child performers are ready to show off their prowess. The new mentors are set to devise creative training techniques and incorporate them in activities such as swimming and running.

Madela is set to put many interesting things into his mentoring platform this season as a winner in the first Filipino to win the World Championships of Performing Arts title. Prior to this show, he is a regular judge at the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” segment of noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

Meanwhile, the King of Acoustic Pop makes a comeback at the “Your Face Sounds Familiar” franchise not as a contender but as a mentor who could teach kid hopefuls not only what he knows in music but wisdom as a contestant himself.
