Victor Silayan feels awkward in love scenes with Vina Morales: ‘We respect older people’

Kapamilya singer/actress Vina Morales takes on a stronger, fiercer character in her upcoming afternoon series “Precious Hearts Romances presents Araw Gabi.” Along with the role’s acting demands, her character also requires her to be sensual and sexy. Nonetheless, she aced everything just right.
Set mostly in different beach locations, she had to be a sexy villain in an arresting almost always captivating swim suit ensemble.
“Karamihan ng mga eksena namin actually I’m on my third day sa taping namin eh naka anim na swim suit na po ako. Jusko, may two-piece. Lumalaban kaya!” she told the media at the recent press conference for the series.
In the story, she will have a secret affair with the character of Victor Silayan. Used to doing conservative roles, being sexy and sultry pulls in a different kind of pressure for her to live up to. But doing intimate scenes had been less pressuring and stressful for her because Silayan has been a very good leading man.
“Actually boytoy ko siya, marami na po kaming eksena together, medyo nahihirapan ako because I’m not used to these kinds of scenes or movies before medyo conservative ng konti. I have a lot of swim suits tapos mga bed scenes yaaay! Si Direk kung ano anong pinapagawa sa’min nakaka stress! First time ko to work with Victor and he’s very gentleman, ayon,” she said.
The 25-year-old actor, despite acing some of his roles in past still felt awkward doing such intimate scenes with the singer/actress because of their age difference. But working with the actress simply made his job easier.
“Syempre unang-una awkward kasi first time ko makatrabaho si Ms Vina. Awkward kasi una, sa Filipino culture natin ginagalang natin ang mas nakakatanda sa atin. Vina makes it very easy to work with her. She’s a very beautiful actress, a very generous actress also,” he said.
“Precious Hearts Romances presents Araw Gabi” is set for its grand television premiere on April 30 in the ABS-CBN afternoon block. /muf
