Double celebration for Grandpa Albert and Adalynn

If you were a kid in the 1980s, prepare to feel ancient.
Former Regal Baby Albert Martinez is now a proud grandpa. The actor-director recently celebrated a double milestone: his 57th birthday and granddaughter Adalynn’s third month birth anniversary.
“My birthday is on April 19; Adalynn’s on Feb. 19,” he told the Inquirer.
He basks in his current status as one of Show Town’s most gorgeous grandpas: “At the moment, I feel fulfilled. I’m a very happy lolo!”
He describes Adalynn as a bundle of pure joy. “She’s an angel. She’s one good reason for me to look forward to bright tomorrows.”
He considers his first apo, the firstborn of daughter Alyanna and husband Roy Macam, as “the best gift ever.”
“Ang sarap maging lolo,” he said, beaming with delight. “It feels great!”
Indeed, he relishes the fact that he has the license to spoil his granddaughter and leave the disciplining to her parents. “That’s what lolos are for.” —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
