A stand-up comedian versus a basketball legend. Who will win this battle?
Ken Jeong and Shaquille O’Neal hurled insults at each other in the season two premiere of “Drop the Mic” last Sunday, April 15.
The comedian started off the rap battle, stating how O’Neal was way past his glory days as a basketball star. Jeong at one point even brought up the famous feud between the NBA superstar and his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Kobe Bryant.
O’Neal had some insults too for Jeong, targeting the comedian’s height, his role as the hilarious Leslie Chow in “The Hangover” series, and about Jeong allegedly having “a small penis.”
After going back and forth with endless jabs, only one winner reigned supreme. Victory ultimately went to Jeong after getting the strongest applause from the audience.
“Drop the Mic” first came off as a segment from “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, then went on to be developed as a separate show. Stars such as Halle Berry, Helen Mirren and Samuel L. Jackson have showcased their rapping skills as they made their appearances. JB
