Since her last television appearance back in 2016, Jasmine Curtis-Smith has been out of TV projects and focused on movies. Now, the actress is back in her new home network.
Curtis-Smith signed an exclusive contract with the GMA Network yesterday. She was welcomed by the network’s executives: Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Gomez-Rasonable, GMA Artist Center Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara and GMA Network CEO Felipe L. Gozon. Her manager, Betchay Vidanes, was also present in the contract signing.
“A leap of faith,” Curtis-Smith described her shift on Instagram. “Going back on TV with @gmanetwork. Thank you for the patience, trust and warmth Ms. @ggslara, Ms. @ligoras and Sir Felipe L. Gozon, we were intertwined in God’s timing.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, she added: “Looking forward to creating a good body of work with you guys and the rest of network. Cheers!!”
In an interview with the GMA, Gozon said upon Curtis-Smith’s inclusion in their artists’ roster: “Mas lalo tayong excited (We’re more excited).” When told that Curtis-Smith has been hearing good things about the network, the CEO added: “We will have to prove it to her.” Katrina Hallare /ra
