Days away from Boracay’s closure, it seems some celebrities are making the most of the island’s white-sand beach and the sunny weather.
Singers Sarah Geronimo, Erik Santos and Kyla (real name: Kyla Alvarez) have all flown to Boracay with other friends. According to Santos’ and Alvarez’ Instagram Stories, they are staying at the same luxury resort for three days.

Not seen in their photos and videos is close friend Rachelle Ann Go, who is reported to tie the knot on April 19 on the world-famous island, according to the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
Go’s Instagram Stories on Saturday showed her arriving at the same resort with her fiance, American businessman Martin Spies. Today, she took a video of a food-tasting session with Spies.

According to “Hamilton” West End understudy Marsha Songcome, she will play Go’s role in the hit musical while Go is “away for holiday in the sun.”

The theater star also had a bridal shower last Saturday in Pasay City. If the rumors are true, Boracay is a fitting wedding destination for the couple as it is the same place where Spies proposed last September after the two began dating in early 2017. /ra
