“Nyeam free!” Xian Gaza declared in a Facebook live video after being released from jail.

Gaza, who was arrested for violating the Anti-Bouncing Checks law, posted bail of P126,000.

“Someone bailed out for me,” he said in a Facebook Live video taken yesterday as he walked around a Quezon City mall. “Thank you po sa mga tumulong (to those who helped).”

Gaza shared a picture of his Certificate of Discharge, where he thanked “the Filipino public for all the hate, love and support that I received for the last few days.”

“I’m now ready for a new life, lead me Lord,” he claimed.

Masarap makalaya (It’s so good to be free),” he added in his Facebook Live video. On his jail experience, he said, “Ang hirap doon (It’s tough there), my goodness. I don’t wanna go back there. Nyeam.”

Last April 12, Gaza surrendered to Malabon City police following two arrest orders by the Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court. These were filed at Branches 120 and 56 since August 2017 and Feb. 27 this year.

Melissa Cruz and Jaime Asuncion, Gaza’s investors for a supposed coffee shop business, lent him a sum of P3 million but only received partial payment until he reneged on his separate dealings with them.

Asuncion told Inquirer that he obtained the loan of P1 million and that checks began to bounce after P600,000 had been paid. Gaza suddenly became unreachable regarding the issue despite actively updating his social media accounts.

Now that he’s free, it has yet to be determined how he’ll settle his debts.  Will he continue to resort to rich-quick schemes?

The self-proclaimed CEO and now “fraudigy”— as per his Facebook page — is selling the orange v-neck shirt he wore to his surrender for a hefty P9,000.

He also promises a coffee date at hotel Conrad Manila’s C Lounge. Buyers can be of any age and sexual orientation, his plug stated.

Gaza gained internet fame when he used a billboard to ask actress Erich Gonzales out for coffee last year. Gonzales refused the offer. JB
