When you try to question Bela Padilla’s intentions, she’ll surely get back at you.
One netizen learned this when she criticized the actress’ presence in a cleanup drive on Siargao island during the Holy Week break.
In this photo, Padilla and fellow actress and friend, Maris Racal, happily pose as they urged beach-goers to pick up their trash “and leave only one footprint on the sand.”
But a netizen named @honolulujohn snubbed the two actresses, saying: “I don’t believe the two girls in the middle will ever pick up trash.”
The account for the Kermit Surf Resort and Restaurant, which posted the photo, replied in defense of the two actresses. The comment said both of them picked up trash for almost a kilometer of the beach stretch. It added: “They are very concerned about [the] Siargao Trash situation. And they want to help!”
And to finally shut down the netizen’s negativity, Padilla shot back: “We picked up more trash than you did for sure!” Another netizen, @angelabaltan_ backed up the actress for “burning” the basher.
Don’t you dare mess with Bela. /ra
