Shop but dress accordingly – Sharon Cuneta
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is known for her fondness of luxury brands. But whenever she goes around shopping, she always makes sure she dresses up according to the brand’s imperatives.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the megastar posted a photo of her pink Hermes bag, and taught a lesson about dressing up when going to a luxury store.
“Pag mahal ang papasuking tindahan minsan ganito ang dala kong bag, kasi ‘pag Pinoy yata akala nila walang bibilhin at magpapalamig lang. ‘Di ako papayag maliitin ang Pinoy! Sa next post ko makikita nyo naman ang…” she wrote.
(When I enter and expensive store sometimes I bring luxury bags such as this one, because usually if a Filipino enters a [high-end] store, they think that we won’t make a purchase and just go in to cool ourselves. I won’t let Filipinos be belittled. In my next post, you will see…)
In another post, she uploaded a rather simple, denim body bag, which she said she used when she went to a night market.

This is not the first time Cuneta was reported to have purchased extremely high-end bags. Not too long ago, news of her buying not just one but 12 pieces of Hermes Birkin bags surfaced. The costly purchase reportedly amounted to a staggering P3 million each bag.
She has also said in previous interviews that her daughters and grand daughters would naturally inherit all her luxury bags collection.
She even had quipped she had been a billionaire way before she married Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, that her enormous, unbelievably expensive bag collection should not really come as a surprise. /kga
