Bianca Umali marked her 18th birthday with an elegant debut at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong city last March 17.
The Kapuso actress made her grand entrance with a Liza Padilla gown that glowed as she walked to Coldplay’s “Sky Full of Stars.”
Aside from the powder-blue gown, her other outfits for the night were a pantsuit, also by Liza Padilla, and a beaded Fay Reyes gown.
The venue was nothing short of a fairy tale with garlands of flowers, a cloud of white balloons filling up the ceiling and romantic candles on guests’ tables.
Her multi-tiered cake was also accented by blue and pink flowers.
Guests were dressed in white and celebrities graced the grand event to celebrate with Umali.
GMA stars Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana looked stunning together; Abellana wore a thin-strapped gown, while Rodriguez opted for a gray suit. The actress was in “Ismol Family” with Umali.
Rodjun Cruz, Inah de Belen and Kaila Estrada, all decked in white, also partied with Umali.
“Kambal Karibal” co-star Kyline Alcantara, wearing a white off-shoulder gown, was one of her 18 candles, reports GMA.
Umali’s love-team partner and “Kambal Karibal” co-star Miguel Tanfelix looked charming in white. Over the past week, the actor has been giving Umali daily surprises including a framed photo of the two and a floral dress.
The “BiGuel” love team looked happy together as they shared a dance during the 18-roses portion.
While Umali was showered with gifts, she treated guests to a dance performance to Camila Cabello’s “Havana.”
The actress paid tribute to her parents whom she lost at a young age: Her father was the last 18th rose, while her mother the last 18th candle.
The debutante’s actual birthday was on March 2. Umali has grown up in the showbiz industry, playing as an extra since she was a child and has since been trusted with leading roles. /ra
