LOOK: Isabelle Daza holds star-studded ‘dream sportsfest’ baby shower

Isabelle Daza and Adrien Semblat held a baby shower for all their friends and family last Saturday, March 17 at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City. Daza’s looking ready to pop anytime soon, but she and her husband wanted to treat their loved ones to a special kind of baby shower: a sportsfest!
The sportsfest was a star-studded affair as it saw all their friends not just from the entertainment industry, but also in sports, business and beauty come together. Among the guests were actors Jake Cuenca, Iya Villania and her family, Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, Will Dasovich and girlfriend cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao, stylist Liz Uy, among many others.
“Had so much fun organizing my dream sportsfest even for my baby shower,” gushed Daza on Instagram last Sunday.

Daza kept loyal to her sporty theme, shown in her pictures from the event. The set up included a makeshift kiddie playground as well as the different obstacle courses and games her “players” were subjected to. There was also a four-tiered cake as the showstopper, which said, “Belle & Adrien are having a little athlete.” It’s still unknown, however, if the two are having a boy or a girl.

It wasn’t all fun and games for the guests, too. Treats such as ice cream cones from BLK 513 were served to guests who needed saving from the sweltering heat. Since it was still an adult’s shindig after all, liquor was also available to anyone who needed a break.

The sportsfest baby shower turned out to be a major success, too, as everybody showed good sportsmanship and went home happy. Daza only has a few more days left before she and her husband welcome their baby to the world, but it seems loved ones had too much fun from the baby shower — they’ve been asking her to now make the sportsfest a yearly event.
She appealed to them: “Been receiving so many messages asking me to make this a yearly event. Can I give birth muna?!” JB
