LOOK: ‘Eat Bulaga’s’ Joey de Leon, longtime partner get married

Wedding bells rang for veteran comedian and “Eat Bulaga” host Joey de Leon and his partner for 35 years, Eileen Macapagal.

De Leon and Macapagal tied the knot in a civil ceremony held at the Supreme Court in Manila yesterday.

The newlyweds looked happy as they posed for the camera in this Instagram snap posted by the comedian.

Wedding photographer Pat Dy took this photo of the couple doing the famous finger hearts. He said of the couple: “Finally! Congratulations to Mr Joey and Mrs Eileen De Leon! 2 of the most down to earth people you will ever meet.”

Both also look romantic in this black-and-white shot by the window, as they lovingly stare at each other.

Wedding guests included De Leon’s “Eat Bulaga” co-host and one-third of the TVJ trio, Sen. Tito Sotto, and his wife, actress Helen Gamboa. He said of their union: “That’s it! Natuloy din (It finally happened)!”

The wedding reception was held at The Manila Hotel. In this video by Sotto, Gamboa, Ruby Rodriguez and Pauleen Luna-Sotto groove to the beat of the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There.”

Comedian Allan K posted the husband and wife having a quick kiss.

And the rest of the Dabarkads crew including Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza, Pia Guanio, Ryan Agoncillo, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Jimmy Santos joined in the fun.

De Leon was previously married to actress Daria Ramirez, with whom he has two children: actor Keempee and former teen actress Cheenee. Meanwhile, he has three children with Macapagal, namely Jako, Jio and Jocas. /ra
