Something new for celebs in 2012

ANNE CURTIS: Wants solo concert and world tour

Life is too short to be kept boring. So why don’t you surprise yourself this 2012 and do something you’ve never done before? If you keep doing the same things over and over again, what’s the point of calling it a new year?

Make a change or be chained to your old ways. Sometimes it’s more exciting to be close to the danger zone than to be stuck in your comfort zone.

With that in mind, I asked some celebs what they want to do for the very first time this 2012. As pour moi, I will try to include unusual places in my travel plans this year and deviate from the routine tourist stuff.

Don’t let the Year of the Dragon just drag on. Live it up, explore new places and experience things beyond your wildest dreams. Delve into 2012 (head over heels).

ANNE CURTIS: “To have my first ever solo concert and world tour.”

MIRIAM QUIAMBAO: “To write a book.”

MARK GIL: “A beach trip with all my five kids and my grandchildren. That would bring me total happiness.”

ALEX GONZAGA: “I want to try traveling somewhere out of the country alone. I don’t think my parents will allow me but I would love to try it even for a few days, so I can feel independent and self-reliant for once.”

SITTI: “To learn capoeira (Brazilian martial art) and Muay Thai boxing.”

JED MADELA: “If given the chance, I would like to try out conceptualizing, writing and directing a concert. For a change, I would like to be behind the scenes. Calling artists and concert producers who might be interested to take a chance with me…”

CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA: “To release a song in the United States.”

PINKY AMADOR: “To paraglide and then to tandem-jump from a plane.”

POKWANG: “Matagal ko nang gustong matuto mag-drive pero takot ako. This year, desidido na akong mag-aral mag-drive. At sa movie kong ‘A Mother’s Story,’ first time ko magpapaiyak ng mga manonood.”

BO CERRUDO: “Aside from planning my concert series on a bigger scale this year and start building my own home, I would like to get into the real estate business, like a build-and-sell thing.”

ROBERT SEÑA: “I want to reach the summit of Mt. Apo. I say that almost every year. I hope 2012 will finally be the year I’d get to do it.”

SAY ALONZO: “Work with my idol Sharon Cuneta and maybe even do a duet with her.”

BAYANI AGBAYANI: “To compose all the songs for my next album and write movie scripts for myself.”

VINCE HIZON: “To go to Europe. I’ve been to many places except Europe, so I’ve booked my tickets for Amsterdam and London next month.”

ARCHIE ALEMANIA: “To stick to what the Bible says.”

MR. FU: “Thinking of having a tattoo this year. I want the Chinese ‘Fu’ symbol on my left arm. Sana lang may painless tattoo at hindi ako magmukhang Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang member. May ganon?”
