Is there really a rift between Yassi Pressman and the love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre?
Despite not being close like they used to be, Pressman assured that she still keeps in touch with the two. She also denied that there is a gap between her and the couple, in an interview with Boy Abunda for an episode of “Tonight With Boy Abunda”, aired Monday.
“Sanay po lagi ‘yung mga tao na… ayan po, lagi po kaming magkasama… but now, meron na po kasi silang sariling path,” (People are just used to that. We used to be always together, but now, they have their own path.) Pressman assured. “And then ako po, sobrang busy lang po talaga sa taping.” (And then there’s me, I’m just really busy with taping.)
Even if circumstances such as conflicting schedules drive them apart, Pressman said that she and Lustre greet each other whenever they have the time. She also revealed that they congratulated each other on some of their recent projects.
“She just congratulated nga me po sa ‘Migraine’ music video that I got. It’s like a little heart project, Tito Boy. So parang song po siya ng [Moonstar 88] na ni-revive po namin. So, it was a really, really close project to me,” Pressman said. “And then ki-nongratulate ko po sila sa (Revolutionary concert).”

Unlike Lustre who is happy in her relationship, Pressman is single. But she is keeping her heart open as she said: “I like love. I love love. It wouldn’t be honest naman for me to say na ‘Ayoko.’ (I wouldn’t be honest if I say I don’t want it.)”
To stress her point about her stand on relationships, Pressman shared a quote about taking love seriously: “There’s so many mediocre things in life, and love should not be one of them.” Katrina Hallare/JB
