“Kick-Ass” and “Godzilla” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson recently uploaded on Instagram a photo of him relaxing with his wife, director Sam Taylor-Johnson, on the set of their new collaboration, “A Million Little Pieces.”

The film, which stars Aaron, Billy Bob Thornton, Charlie Hunnam and Juliette Lewis, is based on the book of the same title by James Frey, whom Aaron is portraying. The husband-and-wife tandem also cowrote the screenplay, about the main character’s struggle with alcohol and drug abuse.

The Taylor-Johnsons originally worked together on the 2009 film “Nowhere Boy,” where Aaron played the young John Lennon. He was 18, while she was 42 at the time. They have two children, and two other kids from Sam’s previous marriage.

“The love of my life,” Aaron described his wife in another photo posted last year.

No monster role-playing for Anna Paquin, hubby

On Instagram, Oscar-winning actress Anna Paquin revealed in a post that she and her husband, former “True Blood” costar Stephen Moyer, didn’t play their characters off-set for other, less filmable scenarios.

“No, he never calls me Sookie in his Bill voice, like ever,” she said, amusing some fans and disappointing others.

One fan commented, “That is extremely upsetting … there [are] no role-play nights.”

Paquin responded, quipping, “I never said there was no role-playing of any kind,” followed by a winking emoji.

Paquin and Moyer were costars in the horror-dramedy series for seven seasons. She played the telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse, while he played Bill Compton, her on-again, off-again vampire lover.

She also replied to a fan who asked if the couple actually engaged in sex on set. “That’s pornography, and that’s not what we do for a living,” the 35-year-old actress clarified.—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
