Nobody said carrying an actual living human being inside you was easy. Most pregnant women gain around 25 to 40 pounds throughout their three-trimester journey and go through a major hormonal overhaul. There’s all the food cravings, the morning sickness, the stretching of skin, painful cramps and disrupted sleeping and eating patterns. One day you’re happy, then tomorrow you’re suddenly in tears for no apparent reason. It’s difficult to keep up with such overwhelming change and sometimes we wonder how such a thing is possible in the first place.
Just ask heavily-pregnant It Girl Isabelle Daza who attests to the struggle that it takes to be a mother. Daza took to her Instagram page yesterday and shared clips of her documenting her pregnancy journey. In one of the clips, Daza can be seen working out and lifting dumbbells in the gym. Daza shared that she already weighs 194 pounds.
“Trying to stay positive but sometimes it’s just hard!!! Feeling so down today cause I’m 194 pounds,” wrote Daza. “I’ve been gaining so much weight. And I’ve been really sad about it. But I know I have to just focus on staying active. Maybe I’m just putting so much pressure on myself. This transition is not easy and sometimes I feel left behind.”
In another clip, Daza is inside a room with stacks of boxes around, presumably things and equipment she has yet to fix before the baby arrives.
“Fix the nursery,” Daza noted as her to-do this week. Daza is almost nine months into her pregnancy and the baby is set to arrive sooner than soon, prompting her to get the nursery ready just in time for the coming of her baby.
Daza has definitely been in and out of the gym throughout her pregnancy, making sure she gets enough exercise to keep healthy. She also often does yoga and goes on strolls when she can’t go to the gym. In her other clip, Daza shared about finishing her morning walk by doing 6,847 steps.
She also posted a picture of her with her loving husband Adrien Semblat two days ago, while on their early morning walk.
“Just an ordinary weekday early morning walk with the baby daddy,” she wrote. Despite the struggles, exciting times are definitely ahead for the couple, and for Daza as a mom, as they await the arrival of their baby. JB
