Fresh from the success of “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad,” Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach now tries her best to cheer up Gerald Anderson in “My Perfect You.”
In the trailer released Tuesday, the beauty queen turned actress plays Abi, an all-around caretaker for The Happy Sunshine Camp. Anderson’s easily irked character, Burn, then takes up room in the hostel.
As Burn enters the hostel’s room, Abi tries to impress him by saying, “Once you check in, mahihirapan ka nang mag-check out, dahil serbisyo namin, all out (Once you check in, it will be hard for you to check out because of our all-out service)!” Annoyed by this, he then asks her to get out.
Throughout the teaser, Abi attempts to turn Burn’s frown upside down with her sunshine attitude. It is also revealed that she is not only a caretaker but also the manager, owner and cook of the hostel.
Will she be able to end Burn’s negative disposition? Directed by top-billed director Cathy Garcia-Molina, the movie hits theaters on March 14. /ra
