LOOK: A delighted Iza Calzado gives thanks on winning PMPC Movie Actress Award
Actress Iza Calzado is still on cloud nine after she snagged the PMPC Movie Actress Award of the year for her portrayal of an actress gone mad after an accident in the psychological thriller “Bliss.”
Thanking the movie body for giving her the honor, Calzado said that “in as much as winning an award outside the country is an amazing feat, there is a wonderful sense of joy and accomplishment when you are recognized in your own country for the work you do!” as she posted this gleeful photo of herself holding the award on her Instagram Wednesday.
Not forgetting the people behind the film that catapulted her to get the award, the actress thanked several people and movie director Jerrold Tarog for giving her the starring role of Jane Cariedo.
“Masaya na si Jane! I share this with my fellow co-actors and staff/prod in Bliss who did their jobs so well that it made my work easier,” Calzado went on about the movie’s team.
