WATCH: Will Smith congratulates ‘Black Panther’ team for ‘spectacular’ work

Will Smith joins in on giving the latest Marvel Studios movie “Black Panther” love and praise.

In a short clip he uploaded on Instagram, the veteran actor gave a shout-out to the movie’s cast and said he was “damn near brought to tears” when he watched “Black Panther.”

He added, “You guys [cast and director] have challenged and potentially even shattered a lot of long-time, long-held false Hollywood beliefs and paradigms.”

Considering he is one of the top black Hollywood actors, a praise from Will Smith himself carries a lot of weight.

Since the movie’s US premiere on Feb. 16, it has earned $242 million from the domestic box office and $426 million worldwide (about P12.6 and P22.2 billion, respectively), according to Box Office Mojo.

Movie review website Rotten Tomatoes gave “Black Panther” a 96 percent Certified Fresh rating.  /ra
