Megastar Sharon Cuneta is now happy that she and ex-husband and perennial love team partner Gabby Concepcion have finally buried the hatchet.

But with the launch of their mini on-screen reunion, their sweet old memories, some going back to their teen years, have been resurrected.

On Instagram, Sharon shared, “Gabby and I have been McDo customers since we were just BF-GF! We used to go to he first McDo drive-thru in Greenhills in his yellow Porsche. Also in the first drive-thru in Pampanga on our way to shootings – in Baguio, Pangasinan, etc. – even if we drove my driver, yaya, body guards crazy cos all they coud do was stay in my car and theirs and follow Gabby and me in Gabby’s car! [laughs] Who’d have thought we’d be declaring our love for McDo all these years after?”

After the hotly trending commercial, this revelation from Sharon didn’t give fans the chance to breathe the “kilig” overload just yet.

Their reel to real life love story sent the country crying in happiness and then in mourning when their fairy tale love story ended.

Their fans and their families  who personally witnessed their love story were just too affected in seeing them together again. Among them was their only daughter, actress/singer KC Concepcion, and Sharon’s aunt, award-winning actress/singer Helen Gamboa.

They first graced the movies via their smash hit teen love movie “Dear Heart” in 1981. They eventually got together and married in 1984, a wedding ceremony celebrated by an entire nation. However, in 1987, hearts were shattered when they finally separated. The last movie they did was “Tayong Dalawa” in 1992. They were reunited in the small screen 25 years later via the trending McDonald’s commercial.
