The much-awaited romcom-drama “Meet Me in St. Gallen” finally came to the fore when it held its celebrity screening in TriNoma cinema, Quezon City last night.
The film is the brainchild of film director Irene Villamor and stars Carlo Aquino and Bela Padilla as the two main characters of the love story.
Pictures from the star-studded screening surfaced courtesy of Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., who kept track of all the attendees in last night’s event.
Of course, the screening wouldn’t come to be without Villamor, the director herself, flanked by her love team, Padilla and Aquino.
Amidst the recent teasing and banter between Aquino and Angelica Panganiban, she made sure to catch the screening of “Meet Me in St. Gallen”, accompanied by actor Ketchup Eusebio. She was also able to greet Aquino during the event.
Xian Lim also came, but solo, without his leading lady Kim Chiu.
“Meet Me in St. Gallen” is now showing in selected cinemas in the Philippines, as excitedly shared by director Villamor. “NOW SHOWING po kami!” wrote Villamor on her Instagram page.
The story revolves around Aquino and Padilla who meet in a coffee shop and, upon making each other’s acquaintance, engage in a one night stand. They go their separate ways, but serendipitously meet again years later in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The romantic film comes in perfect time for Valentine’s Day which is lurking just around the corner, and is sure to pull on the heartstrings of viewers, both single and in a relationship. JB
