Before she says “I do,” Coleen Garcia is enjoying the pristine beaches of Hawaii with some of her closest friends.
Among them are her maid of honor, actress Ria Atayde, videographer Janina Manipol and hairstylist Renz Pangilinan.
The bridal entourage had matching hats, swimsuits and bags to look stylish during the trip. Their hats were customized with their names, and the swimsuits were tagged with “bride” and “squad.”
Another special touch was having their names and a picture of Garcia’s chihuahua named Summer printed on the tropical-themed bags.
They stayed in Prince Waikiki hotel in Honolulu, which boasts of a stunning pool and is near the surf spot in Waikiki beach.
A vacation isn’t complete without good food, and Garcia gushed at “14-inch, five-pound” pancakes that none of them could finish in one sitting.
“The strawberries and cream complemented the pancakes so well that we didn’t even need to put any syrup on it,” she said of the delicious breakfast.
“I really wanna lose 10 pounds,” captioned Atayde in a picture before she dug into the sumptuous meal.
They also got their fix of greens with a mix of organic bowls and smoothies.
And to maintain their figures, they also made sure to hit the hotel gym.
The true beach lover that she is, Garcia is set to wed fiancé Billy Crawford in a beach ceremony this year. /ra
