WATCH: Tina Turner praises ‘Hamilton’ West End cast, Rachelle Ann Go gushes over meeting ‘legend’

Music legend Tina Turner turned into a certified “Hamilton” fan after viewing the West End version of the hit hip-hop musical.

In a video shared by actress Rachelle Ann Go, Turner is seen addressing the cast with sincere praises. “To the costume, to the singing, to the acting, it was simply greatness,” she gushes.

“I’ve never been to many musicals,” the Grammy-winning artist admits. “This is the first real one I’ve really seen, watched every detail, every footwork.”

The cast is heard cheering at the rave review before Turner says, “You guys did a great great great job.”

In a picture with the cast, Turner hails the musical as a “truly fantastic show.”

Turner herself is working on “Tina the Musical” based on her own life and career, and which will feature her own songs. It is slated to premiere in March in West End. 

Go shared photos of the cast with the “Proud Mary” singer where she wrote, “TINA TURNER!!! I grew up singing her songs! What a legend! I couldn’t believe this.”

Another Filipino actress, Christine Allado said, “We are blessed.”

Go and Allado play two of the three Schuyler sisters on the play based on American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton’s life.

Turner joins a long list of actors who have enjoyed the West End rendition of “Hamilton,” which includes Hollywood actors Keira Knightley, Emma Stone and Maisie Williams.  /ra
