Maritoni Fernandez celebrates 17 years of being cancer-free

Maritoni Fernandez celebrated her 17th year of being cancer-free with a message of thanks on her Instagram.
Fernandez shared a photo with her radiologic technologist Marie. She had visited the hospital for her yearly 3D mammography tomosynthesis, which came out clear.

Fernandez also gave a shout-out to good friend and head of breast clinic at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, Dr. Perez. She wrote, “Thank you for making sure I’m always healthy and my boobies are too!”

The actress was diagnosed with Stage 2A breast cancer when she was 30 years old. She fought against it for around a year and won. /ra
