Marian Rivera brought to tears by Dingdong’s anniversary video

Marian Rivera was in tears even before she watched the heartfelt anniversary video that husband Dingdong Dantes worked hard on.

Dantes and Rivera married on Dec. 30, 2014.
She noted that he’s a man of few words, which made the video even more meaningful. “Bihira lang ‘yan na magsalita ng talagang tungkol sa amin, or pag may interview, mga pasingit-singit lang ‘yan (He rarely talks about us, or even in interviews, he only interjects).”
“So, dun sa video, ibinuhos niya ang mga gusto niya talagang sabihin sa akin (So in the video, he poured out what he really wanted to say to me).”
She related how he presented the video to her in an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal.
“Sabi niya sa akin, ‘Mahal, may gift ako sa ‘yo, pero hindi materyal na bagay, pero buong puso kong ginawa’ (He said to me, ‘My love, I have a gift for you. It’s not a material object but I put my whole heart into it’).”

When he revealed that it was a video, “pagtingin ko, music pa lang, humihikbi na ako (when I looked, from the music alone, I was already sobbing).”
The video showed the couple in their travels, their “royal wedding” and then as a complete family with baby Zia.
The “Super Ma’am” star said she was sobbing when Zia came into the screen.

“Dun ko lalo na-realize na ang sarap ng family na ito (I realized even more how happy this family is),” she said.
The entire family from both sides—even her father in Spain—also watched the video before it was released to the public.
“Sana palagi mo ‘yang panoorin para malaman mo kung gaano kita kamahal (I hope you always watch this so you know how much I love you),” he told her.
She shared how busy their schedules could get, so she watches it on her phone wherever she is.
As for her anniversary gift, “nag-nighties lang ako (I just wore a nightgown),” she joked, seriously adding that she gave him a simple gift. Niña V. Guno /ra
