Cheer Factor: ‘Damgo’ wins in Indonesia

The winning streak of the honorees at the 2nd Inquirer Indie Tribute continues. Remton Siega Zuasola’s film, “Ang Damgo ni Eleuteria,” won two awards – Golden Hanoman (for best Asian feature film) and Geber (given by the Indonesian film communities) – at the Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival in Indonesia on December 17. Zuasola described the twin triumph as a “wonderful Christmas present.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
