LOOK: Kamikazee is back, reveals dates of 2018 reunion concert tour
Fans of Filipino rock band Kamikazee can rejoice once more as the band announced the dates for its reunion concert tour happening this year.
The band, consisting of members Jay Contreras, Jomal Linao, Allan Buerdeos, Led Zeppelin Tuyay and Jason Astete will rock the stage once more with their hits such as “Narda” and “Huling Sayaw” in several locations for their “Tagpuan” tour.
Kamikazee will kick off their tour in Cavite on Feb. 3 at the Imus Sports Complex. They will also play in Bulacan, Dubai and Baguio in March; Cebu is slated for April; while they will go to Ilocos and Iloilo in May.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the band also revealed that they added shows, such as in Lucena, Quezon; Laguna, Davao, Bicol, the United States, Canada, Singapore and Manila are also in their lineup with unannounced dates.
“Bagong taon bagong simula! Sobrang excited na kaming makasama kayo. Mayroon tayong isang buong taon para mag kita-kita (A new year, a new start! We’re really excited to be with you. We have a whole year to see each other),” Kamikazee wrote while sharing a wacky selfie of themselves.
Article continues after this advertisementThe band also shared that no more tour dates will be added, urging their fans to see them on the dates provided.
“Dito n’yo lang kami mapapanuod sa TAGPUAN Tour!! Sulitin natin to’ng taon mga Mahaharot at Romantico!!!! Kitakits!! (You’ll only see us in the Tagpuan Tour! Let’s make the most out of this year, Mahaharot and Romantico fans! See you!),” they added.
The tour marks their comeback after two years, since their “Huling Sayaw” goodbye tour in 2015. They also released a new song in December of last year via Spotify. JB
