Kim Chiu and Xian Lim enjoyed a cold Christmas in Europe where they witnessed the northern lights in Finland.
The on-screen love team strolled through the cobbled streets of Copenhagen and took pictures among the iconic, colorful houses in Nyhavn.
They headed north to Finland where they were all wrapped up in the negative-degree weather. The 27-year-old actress described it as her “first super snow experience.”
The Kapamilya actors were lucky witnesses to the aurora borealis, which usually appears between April and August.
Chiu shared that she had lost hope on seeing the northern lights when their tour guide told them it was cloudy.
She couldn’t help gushing over the experience. “It is truly magical! Totoo nga sya akala ko edit lang yung colors (It’s real, I thought the colors were just edited)! It is really dancing!”
The “Ghost Bride” star described the range of emotions she felt while seeing the natural light show. “Nakatulala, nakakaiyak, nagulat ako (I was dumbstruck, crying, shocked).”
The 28-year-old actor-singer had just one word for the experience: “Amazing.”
Continuing their adventure, the pair went dog-sledding in negative 19-degrees Celsius weather.
They also bonded with the doggos who gave them a ride.
“Sorry for being so heavy,” wrote Lim in an Instagram post with the dogs.
While the two have been romantically linked, no confirmation has come from either one on their relationship status. /ra
