What would you give your loved ones this holiday season? What’s your wish for the coming year? What’s your most memorable Christmas?

For singer Lara Maigue, the holiday season is always a magical time. “My most cherished holiday memory would be Christmas mornings when we were kids,” she recalled. “The New Minstrels Christmas album playing in the background and opening the gifts Santa Claus had left under the tree with my family were golden memories to me.”

It’s a heartfelt tradition observed every year. “We pray as a family before the clock strikes 12 on both Christmas and New Year’s Eve. We exchange gifts with our relatives on Christmas Day and enjoy a sumptuous lunch and dinner with unlimited picture-taking!”

This year, she hopes to gift her loved ones with sensible presents. “Learning from the past, I want to give them something useful and more practical, and not just something they might want to use someday. This year, I’m planning to give my family a new refrigerator because we badly need a new one (laughs).”

As for her own wish list? “I want to receive a book that I can start reading in the beginning of 2018. I’ve been eyeing this book by Timothy Ferriss: ‘Tools of Titans.’ I want to start the year fresh and with lots of good vibes.”

She is praying for a thrilling new year. “I wish for more exciting things to come. This year for me has been a blast! I’d love to be surprised with new opportunities and new things to try.” —BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
