Actor-singer is undoubtedly among the year’s most bankable young stars.

With the release of his chart-topping single “Dahil Sa’Yo”, singing the official Filipino rendition of “Remember Me” (lead song from Disney Pixar’s newest animated film “Coco”) and a successful solo concert, he caps off the year with yet another milestone by being the newest ambassador for children of child-focused international child-focused organization World Vision.

As a World Vision advocate, Inigo aims to use his influence to help children know their basic rights and promote good values among the youth.

“Every child has the potential to make his /her dreams a reality, but this potential can only be tapped if they are given the right opportunities,” he said today as he signed the Memorandum of Agreement for his partnership with World Vision.

“It is an honor to be an ambassador for World Vision and its spiritual nurture programs for children,” he added.

“I want to make the most of this opportunity by raising awareness so that more people will join and support the cause.”

World Vision Resource Development Director Jun Godornes expressed his excitement in welcoming Inigo into the family. “Inigo is proof that the youth can do amazing things with their talents, skills, and creativity. As a young artist himself, he can inspire Filipino children to not only reach for their dreams but also be upstanding citizens who value their families and communities,” said Godornes.

Now on its 60th year in the Philippines, World Vision continues to provide children with better access to their most basic needs. The organization currently aims to give Noche Buena packages to 34,000 children all over the Philippines, a Christmas tradition they have been doing since 2005.

Past ambassadors of World Vision include Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Ogie Alcasid and many others.

Not too long ago, the young actor admitted that he and fellow Kapamilya young star Maris Racal are “exclusive” to each other.
