Old pals and former love team partner Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga recently caught up with each other in the busy streets of New York.
On her Instagram page, Salonga shared a selfie with Muhlach and thanked him for visiting her in the Big Apple. She is currently part of the Broadway musical “Once on This Island”.
“Yup. This happened. Thanks for visiting the island, @agamuhlach317!” the actress-singer wrote.
In another photo, Salonga and Muhlach can be seen visiting Times Square with their respective spouses, Robert Chien and Charlene Gonzales. Lea’s daughter Nicole was with them as well.
Fans of the two could not suppress their kilig, with one netizen even asking for them to finally push through with their get-together movie.

One fan brought up “the one that got away” (TOTGA) issue, referring to the viral love letter Muhlach penned for Salonga.

The two have collaborated in the films “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal” in 1992, and “Sana Maulit Muli” three years later. A third movie has been planned for years, but has not materialized due to their conflicting schedules. JB
