Dec. 11 marked Lucy Torres-Gomez’s 43rd birthday, and her family spared no expense to make her feel how special she is to them.
A video posted by her husband Richard Gomez on his Instagram page showed Lucy receiving two different kinds of cake — a chocolate-colored one from Gomez and another cake of a lighter shade from daughter Juliana.
Torres-Gomez was so impressed with the cakes that she had to pause before blowing the candles.
Aside from the cakes, Gomez also posted a photo with a dedication to his lovely wife.

Gomez wrote, “Happy birthday, honey! Thank you for the joy you bring to us, your family and to so many people. You are one of the most industrious persons I have ever known, compassionate, bearer of happiness and hope.” He also wished his wife the best of health as he re-affirmed his love for her.

Juliana also shared her own birthday greeting to her mom via Instagram. Her short yet weighty message reads, “happy birthday to my forever peg in life! [emoji] i love you mama!”
Torres-Gomez is presently the congresswoman of Ormoc City, Leyte. She has been the city’s representative since 2010. JB
