Some dads tend to have a habit of pulling pranks on their family, and it appears actor Richard Gomez is no different.

He recently went out with his wife Lucy and daughter Juliana to spend some quality time together.

While waiting at a certain shop, Richard pulled out his smartphone and opened up Instagram to supposedly take a photo.

While still talking on the phone, Lucy tells everyone to smile for the camera, but Juliana realizes that her father was actually taking a video. Mother and daughter scurry away.

Richard laughs heartily, saying, “Mga allergic sa video ‘tong mga ‘to. Pero sila nag-vi-video sila. O ‘yan o! Hahaha!

(They are allergic to videos but they do take videos. There you go!)

When he’s not making fun of his girls, or busy with work as Ormoc City mayor, Richard spends the time painting at their home.
