‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ gets anime-style poster from ‘My Hero Academia’ manga author

An anime style movie poster for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” has been revealed on the movie’s Japanese website. “My Hero Academia” manga author Kohei Horikoshi contributed his talents to create the poster.

According to a statement posted on the site, Horikoshi happens to be a big “Star Wars” fan. The author said, “I am honored to be involved in this way with my favorite Star Wars!”

Horikoshi also spoke about his love for Kylo Ren, and his anticipation of seeing good scenes with the new AT-M6 walker.

While “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” had its international premiere last Dec. 9 in Los Angeles, the rest of the world including Japan have to wait for Dec. 15 to find out the meaning behind the title of the latest “Star Wars” installment. JB
