Before the year ends, actors Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica Garcia have announced that they got something to look forward to in 2018.
Garcia revealed via Instagram that her family will soon be four, as she is expecting her second child. She also admitted that they have been trying to have another child since January, and that her pregnancy has been difficult.
“My doctor diagnosed our condition with threatened abortion because I’ve been contracting on almost a daily basis, while having my trans-v ultrasound, [the] doctor said I was contracting but I couldn’t feel it,” she wrote.
Because of her condition, she canceled her participation in “Kalinga ni Nanay” classes, her advocacy for nature-friendly motherhood, to allow herself to be properly medicated and have enough bed rest.
She then thanked Uytingco and their firstborn, Mori, for understanding what she has been going through. “Even my two-year-old started being patient with me. I hear her talking to her doll, how they must keep their voices down so I could rest,” Garcia said about her daughter.
Ending her post, she thanked her fans and supporters, and even teased “Dalawa na sila, tatlong chikiting na lang po!” (They’re already two; three more kids to go!), referring to how big she wants her family to be.
Garcia is the daughter of veteran actors Jean Garcia and Jigo Garcia.
Uytingco and Garcia secretly wed in 2014 at the Victory Greenhills kid church in San Juan City. They welcomed Mori a year later. JB
