Tippy Dos Santos told the Inquirer: “Ate Flor has been with our family for about 10 years now. We always give her gifts, but I want to give her something special this year. I’ve never known anyone as trustworthy as she is. She looks after us. It’s our turn to look out for her.

“She has always refused to get her own social security insurance. She would always say she’d rather give the money to her family. This year, I want to be the one to personally get her an SSS (Social Security System) ID.”—MARINEL R. CRUZ
